Restaurant: The Oregon Grill Location: Tokyo, Japan
Overview: American-style steakhouses are easy to find in America, but not quite as prevalent in Japan. The Oregon Grill was a bold attempt to capture the steakhouse feel within the design, furnishings, food and atmosphere of this 5,700 sq. ft., 172-seat masterpiece.
Project Scope:
Design - interior design in partnership with Japan-based Tansei IDS Co., Ltd.; furniture and fixtures selection and procurement
Strategy - partner identification, evaluation and deal negotiation with US-based McCormick & Schmick's Management Group
