Job Description
- Journeyman type seasoned Mechanical Field Engineer or Superintendent with 5+ years experience, have the ability to take direction, read mechanical equipment and piping drawings, read plans, read specifications and communicate coordination and design issues in an Industrial Plant environment.
- Individual must be able to communicate with others and work in a multi-cultural environment and be drug free.
- Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring owner design intent for mechanical piping work/equipment installation work/insulation work, monitor man-power, maintain Contractors working drawings with updates, work in Process area directly with Contractor, assist in field coordination including sketching and/or verbal or written descriptions of issues including Building and Process Electrical/Instrument/Control trades, inspect/witness and record on inspection work, keep and maintain red-mark on documents/drawings, assist procurement work for mechanical equipment, piping materials, valves, specialties.
- This position requires maintaining Project Progress schedules and charts with a minimum 50 hour work week, with at least one weekend a month and also requires the ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, ladders work from raised platforms.
- Current work will be located at the job site office in Decatur, Alabama on a long term project.

- Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and basic Windows OS applications.
